I´ll probably get a wah wah pedal for christmas, and wanted to ask you what´s the best I can get for about 80€. Style: mostly hard stuff, but it should well in other music stylies too.

They all sound different, so you'll just have to go out and try a few. The old Cry-baby is my favorite.

A great feature on some of the newer wah's is a knob that you can adjust the sweep of the wah. This is something to consider.

I recently purchased a Crybaby 535Q, the one with the frequency knob and volume boost and whatnot. It was about $130. Have't got to play with it very much, but so far it sounds great! Used to have regulat Crybaby, but it broke. My friend also had a Dunlop Hendrix Crybaby and that broke too, so reliablilty may be an issue.

Me too. Except I paid about $200 CAD.

What´s exactly a frequency knob?

I'm using the 535Q at the moment, it is great ! I have also had a regular Crybaby (OK) and a Hendrix Fuzz Wah ( more choke than the regular cry baby with built in distortion) and a Vox wah modeled on the PodPro floor board.

like the vox wah and the 535Q the best.

Oh yes the frequency knob regulates the frequencies range altered by the wha. You can also alter the amount of wha as well which is cool !

Ok, could I play the "refuse and resist" solo by Sepultura with the regular cry baby so that it sounds exactly like on the album?

Anyone heard of George Dennis? I'm currently borrowing a George Dennis GD30 wah pedal (the original orange one!) and it sounds great, it's stunning. The GD30 rarely show up on ebay, but brand new they cost around £75 (don't know what that is in $).

I ask again, maybe now somebody reads it: Could someone who understands something about wah wah´s please listen to "Refuse and Resist" from Sepultura, and tell me if the solo could be played with the original dunlop crybaby(80€) so that it sounds almost exactly like on the album?
