At first I just totally blew by this post. I believe it was the complete lack of sentence structure, respect for English grammar or paragraphing that threw me a bit. I just kind of zoned out and didn't even skim through it! :eek:

Anyways...

So, I don't check to see how many posts I have on a forum, and a nerdy game like warhammer isn't my top priority... Does this mean I now have a life? When will I find out? I do still live with my mom, but I pay her rent-- does that count for anything? She does do all my clothes shopping, though... hmmm...

well, i'm 20, i have absolutely zero financial support from my parents and i live in the other corner of the country from them, and i have been here since i was 18... in fact they cut me off for the most part around the same age you are...

i have a job that pays me about 50k a year without a degree yet (currently saving for college), i've got a smart and beautiful fiance who's in architectural school, i've got a late model car, i go to "hot" clubs in LA and Hollywood, and i've got some pretty sweet guitars...

but i somehow managed to post up 1600-odd posts in the past 4 years. there are a lot of people here who have actually accomplished quite a bit, and who are extremely intelligent. this post is so far 3 paragraphs long, and barring capitals is probably pretty good gramatically speaking, but it only took me 4 minutes to type... so... yeah.

I believe that it was this entire forum (as well as my brain cell count) that "continued into more nothing" when you started to "inform" the rest of us that if it weren't for Jimi Hendrix' endeavours in the 1970's, Les Paul would "have been nothing" and, I assume, would not have been able to be a guitarist in the 1950's or assist in the development of the electric guitar as we know it today.

My brother is 10 years older than me, so when I was a little tyke in the 80's he would've been a teenager. I would always be hangin' out with my brother in the garage while he worked on his dirt bikes. I remember him having a stereo out there and he'd play lotsa maiden. (I remember thinking how cool the cover art looked) Anyways, you know the song where the dude's like, "Can I play with madness?". I always thought he was saying, "Can I play with matches?". And of course I remember the cartoon thing (on TV) with the light-bulb sticking out of its ass telling me to "play it safe around electricity" and not to play with matches, etc. Anyways, I always said that he shouldn't play with matches.
