My new telecaster is in!

Well my new American tele is in!!! Its got a natural finish and i cant wait. Any other big tele fans out there....(besides telemaster)? I got a 100 $ discount from the promotion, so in some sick way i justified it to myself to buy one... :p . If anyone does have a tele tell me some modifications youve done to it to broden my horizions! thanks!

I love Telecasters. I specifically love mine. Here's a pic of it (this is an actual pic of the guitar that I own on my floor!!!! cool, huh?)

It's a '96 Japanese '52 50th anniversary Custom. It's hard to see, but it has double binding that's the same color as the pickguard (kind of gunmetal). To play it is to experience Teleperfection.

I'd look at Rio Grande pickups and El Dorado pickguards and hardware. They make hand-tooled leather pickguards (you gotta see to understand) and matching metal hardware (bridge, knobs, neck p/u cover). Unique and very cool.

What could be better than a new Tele, my guitar falls into the Partsecaster category, probably the best tip I could give is that Tele pickups are very sensitive to height adjustment, you can tweak away at them and really change the way they sound, things I've tried, strat pu in the neck position, Callaham bridge, Seymour Duncan Hot Tele Rhythm pu in neck position, there are tons of pick-ups for Tele, and lots of cool parts, Happy Twangin................
