The string saddles should have 2 little screws each, with which you can adjust the height of each string seperately.

If you never done it before, chances you will screw up and make it worse...unless its pretty bad right now. Remember a little bit goes a long way. Also make sure to adjust your pickup hieght after, and make sure your releif is good. The point is you might start a chain reaction so be prepared... GO FOR IT!

Polera is right...

when you got your strat you should have gotten 2 allen keys.. a fat guy and a skinny guy... that will take down the height on the string saddles..

depending on what you're doing with that guitar you may want to either:

1 - check the Mr.Gearhead page from Fender.. it'll tell you the "recommended" setup for that guitar: IE; string height from pickups.. string gauge etc...

2 - if you're new to this be sure to put about $80 usd away in case you screw up and need a complete setup.

All in all, setting up the guitar is not very hard but it is time consuming if you've never done it before... just be prepared. If it's your only axe and it needs a change.. I'd recommend letting a pro do it.
