My best friend in Louisiana (where I used to live) happens to be the drummer for my old band, Ben. We've been pals for years, and still stay in touch. My "new" best friend here in Minneapolis, is my college roommate Phuoc (that's pronounced "fook", and yeah, he get's a lot of corny jokes, "What the Phuoc have you been doing all day?", etc.). Strangely enough, he also plays guitar. Some of my other really good friends are Blake, a bass player, Phil, a piano player, Mike, a drummer... are you starting to see a common thread?

Wait, wait, wait!! I'm not prejudiced against non-musicians! In fact, I'm currently in love (read: "infatuated") with Liesl, and she doesn't play any instrument (well, not any musical instruments, that is :rolleyes: )

well, i've had a bird since i was 9 and she's pretty cool, we chill out and stuff... i've had the same girlfriend since i was 15... and i've got like 3 best friends, Josh who i've known since i was 10 in seattle, owen who i've known since i was 14 in boston, and james whom i've known since i was 16.

I have known this kid called ben that lives in my village since i was about 4 or 5. He is about 2 years younger than me... i saw him yesterday actually and we both got drunk and jammed with this drummer my dad is friends with(my friend plays bass).
I also have another friend that i have known since i started school .. i think i was about 4 then. He plays the guitar :)
My other best friend i have known since the start of high school.. was about 11 when i first met him. He also plays the guitar now :rolleyes:
My latest friend i have i have probably known him since i was about 4 but have only become really good friends with him in the last 2 or 3 years.
I have also become quite good friends with this other person i have know since i was 11 in the last few years aswell.
Oh.. i also have made friends with a girl that i have known since i was about 9 or 10... only really just become good friends with her since we both started college.

I guess i dont really have a best friend. I have lots of really good friends. I have a load of other people that i used to be pretty good friends with at school and see them in my free time but since i have left school i have lost a lot of friends. I still see some of them but hardly ever :(

My best friend is a dude named Aaron. We've been friends for 12 years when we met in 7th grade. He's in the Air Force now and going to China, doh! My other best friend is a dude named Paul. We met 5 years ago at the beginning of college when he bummed a cig off of me lol. We had the same major and were roomates for 2 years. Now I'm out of college and out of friends and live in my mom's basement....it's sad to be a cliche.

I agree with Bob-bobby, my guitar is my best friend as well. There when I'm depressed, happy, or angry and need to cool off - though I may break a string. I can play my guitar all day and still not be tired of her sweet sounds...

Unless you're one of those dirty old men that frequent the club so often that all the girls there know ya by name. Me and my buds went to a club last Monday night and we were laughing that we crashed "Dirty old man Monday". My buddy got wasted and blew $500, it was a crazy night.
